Sometimes I do research into things. That sometime is now. Specifically these two pairs of Ludlow boots.Inspired by United States Navy officer Augustus Ludlow, Ludlow street in NYC, famous for its art and music scene is named after him. So let's just say this man is kind of famous. 'It was to Lieutenant Ludlow that Captain Lawrence on the USS Chesapeake during the ship's fight with HMS Shannon the immortal words, "Don't give up the ship" were spoken. We're confident Lieutenant Ludlow and the Quartermaster Board would approve of his namesake being used on these boots.' For every boot there is a history and a story that ultimately shapes what you wear on your feet.
