So let's just say this man is kind of famous. 'It was to Lieutenant Ludlow that Captain Lawrence on the USS Chesapeake during the ship's fight with HMS Shannon the immortal words, "Don't give up the ship" were spoken. We're confident Lieutenant Ludlow and the Quartermaster Board would approve of his namesake being used on these boots.'
